Christian Peter / performer, musician

Christian Peter is a German-French artist living in Croatia. Originally trained as a circus pedagogue in Lingen, he expanded his skills by working in numerous projects, theatres and workshops. As an actor (e.g. 2009 "La Boheme", Croatian National Theatre, Zagreb, directed by Bernard Artaud) and as a choreographer for acrobatic elements (e.g. 2008 "Grižula", directed by Zlatko Sviben), he has worked in many professional theatre productions. He is a co-founder and former employee of the Triko Cirkus Theatar, that won the audience prize for the best independent theater in Croatia in 2012. Christian Peter has worked as a circus pedagogue, acrobat, clown, performer (e.g. 2011 the monodrama "KIKIRIKI", Zagreb, director: Lee Delong) and as a high rope artist (e.g. 2013 "YOU" New Circus Multimedia Show, Dubrovnik Summer Games / Bruxelles, L’École Du Cirque, directed by Boris Kadin) and he participated in numerous educational, artistic and commercial projects. Since 2014, he has increasingly devoted himself to musical projects (such as "Soundtrack Ensemble", Zagreb, directed by Ivan Leo Lemo, and with the band “DeMol- Dede” with Filip Šovagovi). Since 2015 he has been assisting the artist Michael Beutler (e.g. 2015 "Moby Dick", Berlin, Hamburger Bahnhof). In 2016 he founded the duo "the kickpäck" with Franziska Pack to research on physical theatre and contemporary circus. 2019 he had  his debut  as singer-song-writer with his album "Strichziehen".

Franziska Pack / performer

Franziska Pack received her artistic formation in Madrid (focus on handstand and partner acrobatics), and she extended it in her home town Berlin at the tanzfabrik with Contact Improvisation. In 2001 she founded the duo „das vogelpack“ with Laura Vogel in order to combine dance and acrobatics. They had numerous shows on varieté stages (e.g. the midnight show at Chamäleon in Berlin, Newcomershow at Krystallpalast in Leipzig) and at festivals (e.g. Artistic Dance Festival at Konsol theatre in Gelsenkirchen, S.O.M.A.-Festival in Cologne, Sziget Festival in Budapest, Circus Festival in Wroclaw). Besides, she performed in various street theatre shows in Périgueux, Avignon, Aurillac, Vienna and Budapest. From 2006 to 2011 she worked as a perform for the choreographer Kirsten Burger, in pieces such as „Farbsprung“, „Easy come easy go“ and „Mops“, and from 2008 to 2012 with Meritxell Campos Olivé in „Traum zweier Städte“ (Berlin/Barcelona), „Pentacordia“ and “Human Loops”. This was followed by classes in Viewpoint Improvisation and Clown (Christine Rossignol) and her formation for teaching theatre at a state school in Berlin. Contemporary dance (with Stella Zannou and Ricardo de Paula) and from 2012 also Swing Dance (Lindy Hop) are enriching her work and in 2015 she starts the cooperation with Christian Peter (Zagreb) with whom in 2016 she creates the duo “the kickpäck”. In 2019 she created her solo piece "she was a boy" directed by Kirsten Burger.
